Personal development, health and physical education (PDHPE) is mandatory from Kindergarten to Year 10.
PDHPE provides students with opportunities to explore issues that are likely to impact on the health, safety and wellbeing of themselves and others – now and in the future. Students also participate in challenging and enjoyable physical activity, improving their capacity to move with skill and confidence.
The children participate in sport every Friday morning. Children from Kindergarten to Year 2 learn fundamental movement skills and games, athletics, gymnastics and dance. These fantastic lessons are taught by professional trainers.
The whole school participates in fitness activities lead by classroom teachers four days a week. Activities include skipping, games, dance and aerobics. Each term the activities change encouraging children to participate in a range of fitness activities.
